Sound has been used for healing and meditation in cultures around the world for thousands of years. Today, sound therapy is becoming increasingly popular as people discover the calming and restorative effects of vibrational healing.
Sound therapy uses instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, or gongs to create soothing frequencies that help the body relax and reset.
Everything in the universe—including our bodies—vibrates at certain frequencies. Sound therapy works by introducing harmonious vibrations that may help shift the body into a more relaxed and balanced state.
These vibrations can encourage the nervous system to move out of “fight or flight” mode and into a calmer, restorative state.
Sound therapy sessions can be experienced individually, with a partner, or in group settings often known as sound baths.
